You can subdue the Whirlwind by performing five successful rituals. Each nation claims to own it, so the fate of a particular race is regularly decided around this goal. Controlling him and looting him can make the game much easier to play.

Now we are still seeing restrictions, however, already climatic ones. Previously in the Warhammer series, cities were racially restricted: the owner of one faction could not take over the cities of another without suffering negative effects on the construction and growth of the settlement. The user can choose from 6 unique races in terms of bonuses and virtues: High Elves, Lizardmen, Skaven, Dark Elves, Tomb Kings, Vampire Coast.
